That’s the palace at Schwetzingen, a small town situated 10km from where I live.
The Schloss Schwetzingen or the Schwetzingen Palace is what this town in Baden-Württemberg is famous for. It was the summer residence of the Electors Palatine, Charles III Philip, and Charles IV Theodore from the pages of history. Built in 17th century, the gigantic palace is worth a visit. The garden and the lakes are very well maintained. The garden’s sheer size and magnificence is something remarkable to note at this place.
Unfortunately I forgot the memory-stick of my camera in my apartment. Things happen for good.. Now I have a photo-blog of photos clicked with my 4MP smartphone. 🙂
