Holzmarkt: Bohemian vibes and Berliners
In the last couple of years, blogpost publication here has been in single digit. With the pandemic home-office hitting hard, more and more offline hobbies took over in life. Actually the last blogpost was more than a year ago. Of course I‘ve a backlog of posts and photographs, but they never seem to make it out of my Trello.
As we travel back to Düsseldorf to my in-laws for the next week, I’m considering spontaneously to publish this one from my phone for the first time!
Holzmarkt — We’ve been there more than once in wrong seasons of the last year. With post-Covid summer around the corner, we finally kicked-off Holzmarkt vibes when I took a mid-week half-day, and visited Wednesday earlier this week!
Revamped from the Technoclub Bar25 in the past, Holzmarkt is a chilled-out urban beer-park for Berliners on the banks of river Spree in Berlin Friedrichshain.
Hipster bakeries, coffee places, wine shops, breweries, pizza stands — Holzmarkt offers all of it with added colours.
Seasonally through the year, it also seems to offer space for exhibitions, readings, artistry and indie studios.
A natural mix of heavy Bohemian and urban vibes, one never saturates soaking into the lanes here sipping your favorite drink.
Holzmarkt River bank — When the sun shines bright in Berlin, this is by far one of the favorite places I‘d always love to grab a beer with friend and family!
